ILIA’s Youth Crisis Line is the first Muslim-operated crisis line addressing the needs of youth across America. Since the Youth Crisis Line started in September of 2015, we have received over 28,000+ calls and saved 30+ lives from suicide.
The Youth Crisis Line has stabilized youth suffering from suicidal thoughts, homelessness, abuse, and much more. Without ILIA’s Crisis Line, these individuals would have felt lost and alone, and they would have struggled to resolve their crisis. ILIA recognizes the importance of implementing a life-saving resource to support and stabilize our community.
ILIA has published hundreds of Youth Crisis Line posts on Instagram this year, engaging with hundreds of youth with an average of 22 daily interactions from across the entire United States. However, we still need your support to expand the reach of the Youth Crisis Line.
Breakdown of Youth Crisis Line calls on a given week
ILIA cannot spread this crucial resource to youth across the country without your contribution. The Youth Crisis Line has effectively stabilized many young adults, but we must further grow this resource so that we can continue to take calls and save lives.
The Youth Crisis Line Instagram page has spread awareness on mental health issues, homelessness, and abuse, but we need your support so that we can expand our social media presence and impact larger numbers of youth across the country.
Young Muslims and non-Muslim youth across America are suffering from crises everyday, and we have the responsibility to help these brothers and sisters. Support ILIA’s Youth Crisis Line today so that we can take the next call and spread this resource across America.
